Hyve Solutions Launches Energy Efficient Datacenter Servers 

Hyve Solutions launched its new front I/O optimized datacenter servers today from its “Evolution of OCP” customer event held in Fremont, California. The Hyve Solutions Ambient Series is designed to run hotter and can be efficiently cooled by the ambient air within its global customers’ datacenters, helping them to realize substantial energy savings.

“The Hyve Solutions Ambient series is designed around the current demands we see within the datacenter, focusing on lower costs and more energy efficient solutions,” said Steve Ichinaga, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Hyve Solutions.

Currently, large datacenters use chilling systems which require similar energy output to cool a typical server as it does to power it. With the implementation of Hyve Solutions Ambient Series servers, datacenters can save an extraordinary expense on power and cooling costs with the ambient air within the facility without sacrificing compute power and availability.
