Qubole Announces Partnership with Tableau 

Qubole is pleased to announce that it is now an official technology partner of Tableau Software. Available immediately, the joint solution offers customers an end-to-end big data solution – including everything from data preparation, integration and in-cloud exploration with Qubole Data Service (QDS), as well as ad-hoc exploration, analysis and visualization using Tableau.

The integration between Tableau and QDS enables users to execute Hive queries in QDS and analyze results directly with Tableau. There’s no need for data exports and imports and no data conversion is required. Tableau users benefit from all the features and optimizations of QDS, including access to tables created in QDS and the ability to create custom SQL queries.
