CohesiveFT Partners with HP Public Cloud
CohesiveFT today announced the availability of its VNS3 server images in HP's public cloud. With VNS3, enterprises can easily and securely extend their networks into the cloud and manage HP Public Cloud-based servers as if they are running in their on-premises data center. HP Public Cloud users can build virtual private clouds (VPCs) on top of existing virtual compute, virtual storage and underlying networks with VNS3, and expand their VLAN, VPCs and application-centric networking.
With the deployment of VNS3, HP Public Cloud customers can experience the following benefits:
- Use the VNS3 Manager to initiate outbound traffic to the Internet while guarding inbound traffic from external parties.
- Secure data in motion with end-to-end encryption. .Create cloud-based WANs to integrate corporate data centers, cloud infrastructures, and partner sites in a single hybrid network.
- Use more enterprise protocols and monitoring systems, such as UDP multicast and SNMP
- Move between virtual infrastructures or any of HP Public Cloud availability zones with flexible IP addresses.
VNS3 user-controlled network capabilities provide additional network flexibility and added integration into HP's OpenStack Neutron/Quantum-based components.
Ryan Koop, Director of Products and Marketing at CohesiveFT added, "We are very pleased to partner with HP Public Cloud to create synergistic solutions with their OpenStack-based cloud IaaS. Enterprises in regulated industries such as financial services or ISVs looking to offer multi-tenancy in public cloud can benefit from the joint solution features."
