Talend and Sonatype Form Partnership

Talend today announced that it is embedding Sonatype’s Nexus Repository Manager into the Talend Unified Platform, the foundational layer that supports all Talend products with common design, repository, deployment, execution and monitoring capabilities. Sonatype is the leader in component lifecycle management, enabling developers to easily build software applications while significantly reducing security, compliance and licensing risks.

“Talend provides customers with market-leading solutions that allow them to accelerate the time-to-value of any integration project through a simplified process and to ensure the consistency of integration processes across projects and integration styles,” said Bertrand Diard, co-founder and chief strategy officer of Talend. “By embedding Nexus into our integration platform, we offer to our customers the ability to benefit from a best-in-class runtime repository that enables them to further streamline their enterprise integration initiatives by using a proven continuous integration process.”

Nexus is a repository manager that stores and organizes software components for use in development, deployment and provisioning of applications. By using Nexus embedded into Talend, IT organizations will have access to a central point for management of integration components and their dependencies, as well as a proxy between the IT organization and public repositories. Thanks to the agreement, users of Talend’s products will be able to benefit from a solid repository that offers a complete component lifecycle management approach.
