Cirrascale Launches SM4490D with NexentaStor 4.0 

Cirrascale Corporation today announced the expansion of its CirraStor storage product line to include the SM4490D supporting NexentaStor 4.0, the latest Software-Defined Storage solution from industry leader Nexenta.

The Cirrascale SM4490D storage rackmount server is a highly available, fully redundant, and fault tolerant storage solution delivering up to 280TB in a single 4U, 70-bay enclosure with dual server nodes. These nodes support the Intel Xeon processor E5-2600 v2 product family for increased performance and reliability. Additionally, the SM4490D can scale-out to support up to 3PB of storage and is architected to support massively scalable Big Data and private cloud deployments.
