Quanta Cloud Technology Announces Expansion
Quanta Cloud Technology (QCT) is accelerating its global expansion with the addition of new sales and customer support facilities in Japan and China.
The new QCT office in Tokyo opened in December and is focused on serving the needs of cloud service providers, carrier customers and channel partners in that market. Offices in Beijing and Hangzhou, China, support Chinese customers delivering a diversity of cloud services, including search, web portal, social media, e-commerce services and channel partners. All offices are positioned to support not only large-scale datacenter customers but also a growing market for hardware and integrated systems that deliver the efficiency and performance benefits of hyperscale cloud datacenter designs.
This expansion underscores the rapid growth of QCT in its core datacenter business and is representative of the company’s strategy to provide its customer base with rapid and efficient access to server, storage, networking and integrated rack systems.
“As one of the world’s largest suppliers to cloud datacenters, QCT is experiencing rapid growth as the cloud computing industry accelerates,” said Mike Yang, QCT general manager. “Our new offices in Japan and China will help us respond to the increasing demand for our products as we bring disruptive changes to the datacenter ecosystem in these two markets.”
