Bright Computing Joins the TM Forum
AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands, June 1 -- Bright Computing, the leader in high performance infrastructure management solutions for cloud, big data and HPC, today announced that it has become a member of the TM Forum, and will attend its flagship event, TM Forum Live, June 1st to 4th 2015 in Nice, France.
TM Forum is a non-profit global industry association which helps its more than 900 member companies - service providers, technology suppliers, systems integrators, and global enterprises - transform and succeed in the digital economy.
TM Forum Live is known in the service provider industry as "the best networking event of the year", and connects senior-level business and IT decision makers in a collaborative environment. The event hosts over 200 speakers across six summits, and offers over 30 hours of networking.
At TM Forum Live, Bright will meet with customers and partners to discuss how its award winning infrastructure management solution empowers service providers to offer their business customers OpenStack-based solutions, as well as HPC-on-demand and Hadoop-on-demand.
Central to discussions will be the recently announced Bright OpenStack, which allows service providers to deploy a complete OpenStack cloud environment on bare metal, and manage it effectively. Bright OpenStack provides single pane-of-glass management for the hardware, the operating system, the cloud software, and users, so that systems administrators can get the cloud infrastructure up and running quickly and keep it running reliably throughout its life cycle - all with the ease and elegance of a fully featured, carrier-grade cloud infrastructure manager. Bright offers the added benefit of a well-managed and quickly deployed OpenStack platform for NFV / SDN, which will be of interest to visitors of TM Forum Live.
Dietmar Fuchs, Sales Director for DACH, CEE, Russia & CIS at Bright Computing, who has a specialist focus on the telecommunications and service provider industry, commented; "It's easy to see why service providers are taking an interest in Bright OpenStack. All you need to do is answer a few questions about your cloud and Bright OpenStack takes care of the rest. Bright's complete solution installs all of the software you need and creates the necessary configuration files for you, making it really simple to build a cloud service, optimizing the utilization of the servers in your data center while maintaining the service levels your customers demand."
Lee Carter, VP EMEA at Bright Computing, added; "The feedback we're getting from the industry tells us that OpenStack is really tough to deploy. Bright OpenStack is designed to reduce the complexity, providing a compelling solution for the service provider industry. We are excited to be delivering a solution that addresses the challenges operators are facing today with OpenStack."
