PhoenixNAP Now Offering Latest Intel Xeon Processor 

PHOENIX, Ariz., Nov. 12 -- PhoenixNAP, a global IT services provider offering cloud, dedicated server, colocation, and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) technology solutions, announced new bare metal server options that feature the latest Intel Xeon processor E3-1200 v5 product family. The highly anticipated processors improve upon the previous generation, while catering to edge-to-cloud Internet of Things (IoT) designs.

Available within Supermicro X11 MicroCloud server platforms, phoenixNAP customers can select from new Intel Xeon E3-1230 v5 or Intel Xeon E3-1275 v5 processor-based models.

The Intel Xeon processor E3-1200 v5 product family features dramatically higher CPU and graphics performance compared to the previous generation, and numerous other advancements making it ideal for IoT applications.

The new Intel Xeon E3-1230 v5 and E3-1275 v5 processor-based servers are available out of any of phoenixNAP’s global data center locations. The addition of the new models is a direct result of increased customer demand and the growing need online businesses have for highly efficient, high performance servers.
