Boston and UK-Based Panintelligence Named as One of UK’s Leading Scale-Ups

Jan. 31, 2020 -- The rapidly scaling data visualization, reporting and analytics software developer, Panintelligence, which has its U.S. office in Boston, Mass., has been named by the Tech Nation as one of the top 30 scale-up ventures in Britain, and has been admitted to the network’s prestigious peer-to-peer Upscale program.

Previous ventures on the U.K. Government-funded program include gaming software Improbable, Monzo Bank and energy supply scale-up Bulb in its 5-year history, highlighting the trajectory of some of its recent alumni.

Panintelligence, that secured $5.8m backing Series A fundraising in November, already has a number of high profile U.S. retail and financial services customers who use its suite of software to visualize data trends in real-time across a variety of applications.  First developed in the credit and banking sectors, the software has a security-first ethos that has given it traction in regulated sectors including financial services, healthcare and education.

“It’s gratifying to be recognized by Tech Nation and our peers as one of the U.K.’s most promising scale-ups, and now we’re looking forward to focusing on how we build out the business and scale, with a real focus on progress here in the US,” said CEO Zandra Moore.

“We already have US partnerships that have seen us build to over 200,000 users, and we see North America as pivotal to our entire go to market strategy, hence we invested in Boston as our first overseas office last year.  We see our future very much as a transatlantic business with Boston as our U.S. home,” she added.

Liam Ward, Upscale Lead, Tech Nation commented: “It’s incredibly exciting to announce the 30 companies joining the Upscale 5.0 program, especially with many of this year’s cohort using technology to address important societal issues around health, waste and education.

Panintelligence, led by CEO Zandra Moore and CTO Ken Miller employs 40 staff at its Leeds, U.K. head office and U.S. base at 50 Milk Street, Boston, where it plans further growth in 2020.
