Former US CTO Michael Kratsios Joins Scale AI 

June 1, 2021 -- Scale AI announced former United States CTO Michael Kratsios has joined the company as Managing Director and the company’s Head of Strategy, where he is focused on accelerating the development of AI across industries.

In his time at the White House, Kratsios recognized the strategic importance of AI to the Nation’s future economic and national security, leading efforts to issue the first ever national AI strategy, committing to doubling AI research investment, establishing the first-ever national AI research institutes, releasing the world’s first AI regulatory guidance, forging new international AI alliances, and establishing guidance for Federal use of AI. These efforts culminated with the passage of the bipartisan National AI Initiative Act and Industries of the Future Act and the establishment of a National AI Initiative Office at the White House.
