ThinkParQ Investing in Taking BeeGFS to the Cloud and Refining Solutions for HPC and AI Workloads
KAISERSLAUTERN, Germany, April 7, 2023 -- ThinkParQ, the company behind the parallel file system BeeGFS, has announced it is investing in building out new cloud capabilities with the recent appointment of Joe McCormick to its engineering team.
As a new member of the ThinkParQ engineering and development team, Joe McCormick will play an instrumental role in developing the next generation of BeeGFS capabilities.
As a new member of the ThinkParQ engineering and development team, McCormick will play an instrumental role in developing the next generation of BeeGFS capabilities that offer users the flexibility they need to deploy high-performance storage both in the cloud and onprem, while keeping costs in check.

In his new role, McCormick will also help maintain the open-source BeeGFS CSI driver, which he helped launch and has proven to be a popular addition to the BeeGFS ecosystem.
