HPCwire Unveils 2025 People to Watch

SAN DIEGO, March 10, 2025 – HPCwire, the leading publication for news and information for the high performance computing industry, today unveiled its People to Watch for 2025. This feature highlights key community members who are driving the industry forward, people you should be keeping an eye on in the year to come.

Over the course of the program, HPCwire has recognized more than 260 HPC luminaries who have gone on to achieve extraordinary things. One dozen additional individuals are being honored in 2025, the 23rd year of the People to Watch program.

“Once again, we are pleased to announce the HPCwire People to Watch. Each year, it’s a challenge to narrow down a large group of HPC movers and shakers to just twelve HPC innovators whom we think everyone should keep their eyes on,” said HPCwire Managing Editor Doug Eadline. “These twelve individuals are working at the leading edge of HPC, and they deserve our attention over the coming year.”

2025 is an exciting year for HPC; the growing virtuous cycle of HPC acceleration due to the convergence of AI, Big Data, Quantum Computing, and HPC is opening new vistas for research and discovery breakthroughs. Our 12 People to Watch for 2025 are at the forefront of these trends, adapting new technology to our rapidly changing world in order to unlock the answers to the biggest societal challenges of our time and make the impossible, possible.
