Vultr Announces Early Availability of NVIDIA HGX B200 Worldwide
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., March 19, 2025 -- Vultr has announced it is an early adopter in enabling early access to the NVIDIA HGX B200. Vultr Cloud GPU, accelerated by NVIDIA HGX B200, will provide training and inference support for enterprises looking to scale AI-native applications via Vultr’s 32 cloud data center regions worldwide.
“We are pleased to offer early availability of the NVIDIA HGX B200, providing our customers with access to NVIDIA’s latest advancements in accelerated computing,” said J.J. Kardwell, CEO of Vultr. “By combining Vultr’s global cloud infrastructure platform with the performance and flexibility of NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs, we are empowering enterprises and AI innovators to develop and deploy AI precisely where it’s needed.”
As AI adoption surges, the demand for advanced computing power grows, especially as AI models shift from training to inference. The newest generation of large language models (LLMs) require a new approach to deliver AI’s transformative potential efficiently and cost-effectively. Vultr Bare Metal and Vultr Cloud GPU, accelerated by NVIDIA, address this need by offering scalable, high-performance AI resources globally.
This enables organizations to meet the computational demands of LLMs without the complexity of managing AI infrastructure. NVIDIA HGX B200 strikes a balance by offering exceptional performance and energy efficiency, with more memory and acceleration than previous generations. It helps organizations overcome performance limits while supporting a more sustainable future. With the NVIDIA HGX B200, AI innovators can benefit from:
- High performance: The second generation NVIDIA Transformer Engine leverages Blackwell Tensor Core technology to double the performance and size of models that the NVIDIA HGX B200 can support while maintaining high accuracy. This results in 3x faster training and 15x faster real-time inference than NVIDIA Hopper-generation GPUs.
- Reduced energy usage: For inference workloads, the NVIDIA HGX B200 requires up to 12x less energy than Hopper-generation GPUs for similar performance.
- Simple deployment: Vultr’s streamlined, intuitive user interface and deployment tools make it easy and quick to provision GPU resources, accelerating time to value for AI workloads.
- Scalability: Vultr’s cloud infrastructure enables seamless scaling for GPU requirements, ensuring consistent performance as computational demands evolve.
- Broad application support: The NVIDIA HGX B200 offers support for an extensive range of workloads, from AI and machine learning to data analytics, scientific simulations, high-performance computing (HPC), and other demanding use cases.
At NVIDIA GTC, Vultr will be showcasing (booth #1533) new support for NVIDIA NeMo and NVIDIA Blueprints on the NVIDIA HGX B200. This comprehensive, integrated solution enables organizations across industries – ranging from telecommunications and financial services to healthcare and life sciences – to drive groundbreaking agentic AI initiatives. By empowering systems to act autonomously and intelligently, this technology unlocks new possibilities for innovation and operational efficiency.
“Achieving faster, real-time inference is becoming a critical differentiator for organizations aiming to rapidly scale their AI initiatives,” said Dave Salvator, director of accelerated computing products at NVIDIA. The addition of the NVIDIA HGX B200 to the Vultr Cloud GPU lineup marks a significant milestone in our long-standing collaboration with Vultr. By making NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs accessible to both innovators and enterprises, we are empowering AI pioneers worldwide to accelerate generative and agentic AI initiatives on a global scale.”
The NVIDIA HGX B200 joins Vultr’s other NVIDIA GPU offerings, which include the NVIDIA GH200, HGX H100, A100, L40S, A40, and A16 GPUs.
